If you have a slider with values between 0 and 1 (like Crop TOP) but you need much higher values, if you set it numerically to, say, 600, and then try to use the Slider, it defaults back to its 0 to 1 range…
Shouldn’t it remap itself to a higher value? So for 500 it would map itself to something like 0 to 1000?
It’s always been like this, but I agree, would be nice if they remapped, especially in Constant CHOPs with lots of values, the sliders basically dont get used if you’re outside 0-1.
Yeah, in Houdini there is a nifty tool that allows you to edit any parameter interface, which you can then save for that parameter, or set as a global default. You get used to being spoiled with little things like that
