I’ve noticed a few cases when touch still cooks unnecessary things when openning a window with the parameter performmode set to true, compared going into perform mode. (no main window anymore instead of it just being greyed out/unresponsive)
Is that supposed to be that way?
Thanks

(sorry wrong forum initially, I deleted the other post)
Little up on this one, not sure if it’s intended, but I still find the “performmode” parameter on windows misleading, since I don’t get the same performance as with the true performance mode.
While you’re doing the testing, try using the Window Placement dialog and check off “start in perform mode”. Apparently that option completely skips drawing the network to begin with, would be interesting to compare.
The way windowing is done in the experimental is totally changed vs. the 13000 series official builds, so these results may change. I have seen an example where a speed difference like has gone away in the experimental.
