2015 macbook pro for touchdesigner

hi everyone, would these specs be enough for work and perform with touchdesigner?

mid 2015 macbook pro retina 15’’

  • 2.8 ghz quad-core i7 processor

  • 16 gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram

  • intel iris pro 1536mb - amd radeon r9 m370x 2gb dual graphics

  • 1tb ssd

Welcome to the forum. You can certainly use that laptop for TouchDesigner, you just need to design your projects to work within the limits of its power. You might download examples of projects or techniques that people have created on powerful workstations, obviously those will have trouble running on 5 year old laptops.

As you work with it you will discover the limits of its performance and just adjust to it. Perhaps after some time you will want to upgrade, but don’t think its a requirement to get started.

Additional info:
