[ 2021.15240 / win 11 ] Event Chop potential bug with value ranges and sample ranges

I am using an event chop with the following parameters:
image

When I trigger the creation of an event, and track all output channels via a trail chop, I notice that adsr ends before many of the other channels, and state does a weird ramp spike at the end:

further more, I notice that while adsr reaches it’s target value of 60, the “time” channel seems to overshoot the target:

the challenge here is I want a channel that raises to the exact value limit with out overshooting, and that reaches it at the correct time.

Can anyone shed some light on why this works the way it does (assuming it’s a feature not a bug) or if it’s instead a bug?

Thanks!

Hey @lucasm

Thanks for the report and details.

I was able to reproduce on my end. I’ve logged an issue for a developer to look into it, and, if it’s not a bug, come back with the technicals on why it is behaving this way.

Thanks,
Michel
