I’ve recently noticed an issue with after upgrading to 2023, the Laser Device CHOP does not consistently output to my laser (Unity Raw 3). I am connecting to the laser via USB, using a Helios DAC (USB to IDLA adapter).
The only work around I’ve found:
– Connecting to the laser using the 2022 version of TD and the Helios DAC chop
– Closing out the 2022 version
– Opening the 2023 version of TD with Laser Device Chop
– Enabling/disabling the 2023 Laser Device Chop
Any ideas of why this intimately works in the first place? or why this workaround fixes it?
Tested on multiple machines, all Mac OS with Apple silicon based chips (M1 Max, M2 Ultra).
