2022: Search/Replace Hangs

My TD instance has currently been hanging for about 10 minutes and counting after doing this search (sorry the window is faded, it’s because Windows fades unresponsive apps; click to see full size):

Since it’s hard to make out, the Filter Script says operator.lock and I am searching for * and I checked ‘Comments (Utility)’ and ‘All Searched OPs in Results’.

There’s no crash report or dump, it just seems to be unresponsive.

Are you able to reproduce it?

I can’t reproduce so far. Same settings.

Reproduced by doing the following steps:

  1. open Search/Replace

  2. put * in Search field

  3. put operator.lock in Filter Script field

  4. Hit Search (finishes this search sucessfully in a few seconds)

  5. select Comments (Utility) checkbox

  6. select All Searched OPs in Results checkbox

  7. Hit Search again; hangs.

I am specifically on 24270 build. I will dm you the .toe
