[2023.x] Inconsistencies in Release Notes

Hi all. I’m currenlty working on porting TouchDesigner patches from 2022.32120 to latest (2023.12230) and I am scouring the release notes for breaking changes / backwards compatibility issues to make sure my patches are bullet proof.

I have noticed that these issues are “tagged” with bold text to make them easily visible, however the text used is not consistent (and sometimes contains typos) making it harder to search for a specific set of words to find all the breaking changes in one go.

So far I’ve found: BACKWARDS COMPATIBILITY ISSUE, BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY, BACKWARD COMPATIBILITY ISSUE and COMPATIBLITY (typo).

What’s the best way to address this? Should I download the wiki’s source code, edit it, and post it here? Was looking for a FAQ on how to contribute to the docs but couldn’t find anything.

Hi @NiccoG,

thanks for pointing this out. If you find inconsistencies it’s best to post them here in the Forum with a reference where you came across them for us to address it in the docs.

The docs are maintained by us and currently don’t have direct community editing ability.

cheers
Markus
