Could anyone can help me. My Asus ROG Strix 16 (32 RAM, 2 Tb SSD, i9, 2K display) gives an error and closes program. Some time display gives artefacts, also everything (mostly seem in text) glitches, even in other programs (chrome, start menu, even tray time). I guess it could be sth with drivers (NVIDIA 4070 Driver version 591.74). what I can do to work on touchdesigner (2025.32050)?
You should contact product support for your laptop, that sounds like a hardware problem.
Sure? Is it normal to have problems with notebook from box?
It is not normal, that’s why you should contact support, especially if the problems are widespread (other programs besides TouchDesigner). They should be able to guide you in troubleshooting, updating drivers, firmware, etc… and if needed perform a repair.
Unfortunately, even with a high-end laptop like the Strix, ‘dead on arrival’ hardware or bad factory driver installs can happen. If you’re seeing artifacts in Chrome and the Start menu too, it’s almost certainly not a TouchDesigner bug. I’d definitely try a clean driver install using DDU first, but if that doesn’t fix the glitches in Windows, I’d return/exchange it while you’re still in the window!
