30280 macOS silicon download allegedly "damaged"

Hi,
I’ve downloaded the macOS silicon DMG twice. Each time I copy to the apps folder, it opens a “Verifying TouchDesigner” dialog and prompts the user that it’s Damaged and should be moved to the Trash:

Even if the file copy is successful, it will continue prompting this and refuse to let the user open it:

This seems like Apple shenanigans to me. Not sure what’s up or if it’s just my system, which is Sequoia 15.3 (24D60). I will try updating to 15.5 to see if this fixes it.

If I open TouchDesigner.app from the Disk Image directly, it works fine.

This behavior was not observed in the first experimental.

Hi @dylanroscover,

We haven’t been able to replicate and also not have heard about it before. Could you let us know if the OS update resolved the issue?

cheers
Markus

the OS update did resolve the issue @snaut

I would advise anyone else running into the same problem to do the same.
