It would be nice if the “GLSL advanced POP” would create a ‘default’ compute shader and an info DAT, like the “GLSL POP” does.

Agreed, we’ll add that to a future release, the GLSL Advanced POP might still change quit a bit though, here’s a quick sample toe

Some of the new features of the GLSL POP haven’t made it to the Advanced one though (multiple passses…)
