It would be really nice if the Replicator had a setting to make rebuilding a low priority action in Touch. More specifically I would like it to only create as many new replications as possible while being conscious of the current frame time vs. the desired frame rate. If the time allowed is expended before all the replications are created, the remainder should be carried over to the next frame.
In addition, it should have a minimum of one replication a frame in the case that the current frame time exceeds what is desired before the replication process begins.
My practical application is a dynamic parameters menu that gets rebuilt each time a new category of items is selected. Unfortunately this causes an exponentially elongated hick-up in video playback depending on how many replications are being created.
