The key to playing video backwards properly is to understand this is totally dependent on the codec&settings those videos are encoded in - it cannot be ‘fixed’ in the movie playback engine of TD.

Short answer: use a codec which has all the information in each frame, such as MPEG2 encoded with i-frames only. (or use a Cache TOP to be able to scrub short videos in GPU memory)
