Ableton 12 TouchDesigner TDAbleton Control Surface

Hello,
I’m running TouchDesigner and Ableton 12 on MacOS Monterey.
I’ve been trying to connect ableton with touchdesigner, but the automatic installation doesn’t work due to an error and manual installation doesn’t work either. I don’t have an option to chose TouchDesigner in the Control Surface in Ableton preferences. I’ve read similar threads on forum, but it didn’t help, Ableton is still not recognising TouchDesigner. I’m attaching screenshots. What could I do?

In the manual installation I copied the TDAbleton from /Applications/TouchDesigner.app/Contents/Resources/tfs/Samples/TDAbleton
to /Applications/Ableton Live 12 Suite.app/Contents/App-Resources

Thanks!

In your screenshot, the Preferences Folder and MIDI Remote Script Folder are altered. Start with a new tdAbletonPackage. Stretch the parameters so you can see the entire contents of those two parameters, then post another screenshot.

After that try the installation with a textport open. Do you get more error information in the textport when the installation fails? If so, please post that too.

Starting with a new tdAbletonPackage solved the problem. The solution was so easy, I didn’t think about it before… Thank you.
