This one may be a big topic. But Touchdesigner is not very Accessibility friendly apparently, for blind users, but maybe also other groups?
I’ve been working a bunch on button based interfaces and web render TOP / Webbrowser palette integration lately for installations, and come across that it’s not accessible for one of the biggest Screen Readers out there: JAWS.
JAWS is a software that reads aloud the content of windows as you navigate the computer or webbrowser using the keyboard. But it sees nothing inside Touchdesigner. Except the title of the Touchdesigner window.
This is of course a problem for the increasing amount of museum installations made with Touchdesigner, where users use navpads such as Stormpads (shows up as a keyboard), to use the installations.
Just a food for thought in this day an age that maybe some integrations could be done that makes it more accessible. Built in screen readers, an accessibility ON setting somewhere in the program, etc. could be ideas.
