Add or remove number of points in a line

Hello,

I’m trying to pixel map using TOP as references. I got to the point of getting an outline from an image but I’m unable to add or remove points to match the pixels available.

How to add or remove points from a line and keep equal distances between them?

Edit: Found it! Step size on Trace SOP. Info CHOP gives the number of points so I can fine tune it now.
