Alpha Video Support on Macbook Air M1?

As far as I have tested and researched, I can’t seem to find any types of formats that support alpha video on the Movie File Out TOP. My two questions are:

  1. Any chance anyone has found a solution or workaround for recording movies with alpha out of TD on a Macbook/M1?

  2. If this isn’t a possibility, is there anyone out there with knowledge of if it might potentially ever become something that is supportable on a mac?

Sorry for the n00b Q, I’m just trying to determine if/when I need to swap systems and get a PC with an NVIDIA card. Would ideally love to have a workflow entirely on my Mac for portability.
