Animated FBX inside Repricator error

Hi everyone, I’m trying to replicate an animated FBX using the Replicator COMP, but I’m getting an error on the replicated copies.

The idea is that when a new Replicator is created, the FBX imported inside it plays an animation. On the Master Replicator everything works fine, but on the generated Replicators there’s an error on the FBX’s Mesh node, inside the Replicator.

It’s as if the FBX node inside the Replicators isn’t finding the file path.

Does anyone know what’s going on?

Hi @ValdezAraujo

can you try to replicate this behavior with the fbx delivered with TouchDesigner called “humanoid.fbx”

Otherwise can you share your fbx and a minimal reproducible example?

cheers
Markus

I found out that the problem is in the way I export the FBX (I use Houdini)… If I export using File>Export>FBX, they work fine…

But if I export by node (ROP FBX), I have that problem.

What I don’t understand is why it only fails in Replicators. Outside of the Replicator, the animation works normally.

If you want to see the files i s here

Hi @ValdezAraujo

glad you found a workaround and we will have a look at the issue with the sample file.
