Animation Comp - Custom Values on Blue Bar

So I love the animation comp. I’m currently using it to a music track but it’s hard to coordinate timings when all I see is frame data at the blue bar on the bottom. If I want to make a change 1 minute and 30 seconds in, I’d make the cut at frame 54,000. Adjusting the blue bar numbering systems, we can make it more user friendly for time or beat oriented timings.

Can we have a math CHOP option to change the numbering system?

This would allow me to either…

  • see seconds in the blue bar instead of frames (by dividing it by 60)
  • Set a customized number. (For instance, a 140 bpm track is 0.4285 seconds per beat. Use a math chop so instead of frame 1, 2, 3 it would become beat 1, 2, 3)

We did actually have this ability to fully specify the horizontal time range as a function of the input range, with options for samples, frames or seconds, but it seems to have been lost somewhere along the way long ago. We will log your request as we revamp it though.
