See screenshot and toe file. I can drag in PLY file directly from Win 10 on PC into network in 2023.12370 and it displays properly and transforms view as points ok etc. But when I try to import the same model with pointfilein TOP (pointfilein2 in screenshot) it shows an error and when I middle click it says “The following fields were not available X,Y,Z etc” so I think maybe a case sensitive issue? Anyway could not figure this out for a long time until I tried dragging file in directly. Hope this helps.
