Hi, I was just wondering if anyone was having any issues running the new ableton 12 software with the ableton 11 nodes in TD?
Reports have been that it works fine. I will be doing a deep dive and building an updated TDAbleton in the coming weeks.

Yeah, I got it working fine!
I installed Ableton 12 in a custom location (D:\Ableton)
Dropping the tdAbletonPackage in a project and trying to install via the parameters
Install TDAbleton - Preferences Folder → C:\Users\USER\AppData\Roaming\Ableton\Live 12.0.1\Preferences
Install TDAbleton - MIDI Remote Script Folder → C:\Users\USER\Documents\Ableton\User Library\Remote Scripts
got me this error:

But then I followed the manual installation.

And now it’s working 
I also was running into issues until I went through the manual installation. I think the core problem is that Ableton Live 12 renamed the “master” channel to “main”, which is why the install button won’t work. Once I manually added TDA_Master device into my Ableton session, the package connected fine.

Yeah this is a known bug and will be fixed in next release! Sorry about the troubles!
The fix above is exactly right. After installing TDAbleton and opening Live, drag the TDA_Master device into your Master track (aka Main track in Live 12)

Thank you for the directions! I hope this helps other people were struggling at first like I did. I am using Touchdesigner 2023 and Ableton 12.
First encounter: I followed the general steps but in touchdesigner wasn’t appearing on MIDI selection, and I found that closing Ableton and open again will make Touchdesginer appears on MIDI.
Second encounter, in Abelton live 12, I tried to add TDAbelton package in Touchdesigner, I don’t see any package. Drop down the seelction and choose Live 11 (the same version of the script folder I copied)
