Hey all - loving the web render Top but one thing I’m struggling with is finding a place on the internet where I can learn about the current version of CEF. It’s capabilities, features, etc.
Googling often takes me to lots of bug reports and forums but not clear where the official details live.
One simple example of something I’m trying to find, but have not yet - a list of fonts that CEF comes bundled with…
I notice most from the text TOP seem to be included, but not all.

So CEF is just an API that enables us to send commands and grab images from a Chromium browser. If you drop a Web Render TOP and attach an Info DAT, that’ll tell you both the version of CEF and Chromium that we are using. Chromium is just the open source project that’s the basis of Chrome, and the main differences between Chrome and Chromium is that Chrome support some proprietary features and video formats. So in terms of functionality, I think you want to see what Chromium supports rather than search for CEF.
In the case of fonts, I think what you might want to search for is whether Chromium or Chrome installs any. I haven’t found anything that indicates that they do, my suspicion is that they likely just use fonts available on your system. So seeing if a particular font is handled on those browsers might give a clue. My knowledge of fonts and browsers is a bit limited. Hopefully redirecting your search will yield some results.
