Apply multiple materials on the same 3D geometry

Hi,

Is there a way to assign multiple materials to the same 3D geometry (obj/fbx) in Touchdesigner?

I’ve got a geometry where I want 3 different materials applied on it (see pic). I’ve applied different materials to the different parts in Blender, and also grouped them into different vertex groups. But when I export to obj this information doesn’t seem to follow through to Touchdesigner.

Or is the only way to apply different materials on these different parts to export them as 3 separate 3D files and import to Touchdesigner?
