But it’s quite difficult to navigate in DATs
I made a quick video of a few “simple” tasks i’m trying to do like copy paste, formatting parenthesis etc.
I understand its backwards and also strung together like cursive, but just wondering if any of these QoL things can be considered!
Hi. I’ve been asking about this randomly for 6 years…. in general the support has got better in Text Tops etc but DATS are still an issue… ive been advised to try setting up a PC withn arabic as its system lamguage to see if that helps… but not had time so far….

So an update from my recent project.
Arabic support in DAT is good if you type arabic directly in.
My issues are coming from importing txt file in UTF 16. The individual words are fine but the overall reading order is LTR. This may be a limittion of the import? However if I use this data in other parts of TD such as text TOP its correct - the only limitation is I need to switch reading order to get word wrap to work correctly. Also if I use data from a DAT in a string widget I need to go into widget and set RTL in text display for some reason. Hope this is helpful.
