Hello all,
up until the official launch of POPs I was in the middle of a learning path that includes a lot of SOPs. I have briefly tried POPs, which looks amazing. My question is: will SOPs be surpassed by POPs entirely or there will always be space for them? Should I just focus on learning POPs? What’s the take of experienced TD users?

SOPs will stay there for backward compatibility, but we will no longer be developing them further or adding any new features to SOPs. If there is a way to do it in POPs, you should do it there. If you are new to TouchDesigner, focus your time on POPs over SOPs. We have a set of tutorial videos coming soon for POPs as well, but in the meantime refer to the POPs learning resources mentioned in our announcement.
