Art-Net output pauses when nothing is moving

So i’m using both a WLED controlled strip and a laser each with its own address and universe, and everything is working normally, but that lasts only while the DMX values going to the DMX Out CHOP are changing.
When the values stops, for the laser or the leds these goes into something like blackout, but instead i want them to keep the last value was being sent

Hi @Sator_Arts,

sounds like you are working in the DMX Out CHOP’s “Packet Per Channel” mode? Here values are only send when they are changing. Often ArtNet devices have a setting what they should do when no new values are received: Blackout or Hold.

2 options to change this:

  • either you make the change on the ArtNet device or
  • add a Null CHOP in front of the DMX Out CHOP and set it’s Cook Type to “Always”
