Asus Zenbook

Was considering the zenbook for portability.
But is it powerful enough to work properly with TD?

I think you want a laptop with a ‘dedicated’ graphics card. Built-in Intel graphics share memory with CPU, makimg them not good for OpenGL-heavy Touch work

Link doesn’t seem to work. There is a Zenbook with a 620m graphics card I think…but again, I stress knowing your goals somewhat before buying a machine. If it’s going to be a mission critical machine on jobs in any way, then I’d recommend getting the best machine you can buy (which will be heavy and not sexy, sadly). If you’re just dipping your toes on weekends, and will likely only ever end up playing 1-2 movies simultaneously with some audio triggered FX, or it’s just a machine for doing some small editing at home when you’re not at your tower, then you really may be totally fine with the Zenbook.

But as cod65 said, Intel hd4000 (or other integrated card) alone won’t do at all.

Newegg has lenovo gt780 with gt630m for $729 and 17" screen. Dunno that card but sounds like a lot of computer
