Audio Device Out not working

Hey everyone, trying to get started in touchdesigner though am hitting a roadblock out the gates. When I bring in an AudioDevOut CHOP and select my driver and device, I’m getting an error (red circle w/ an X) on the AudioDevOut CHOP. Was even getting this error when I tried just using my laptop speakers as the device I selected. I’m on Windows 10 with TouchDesigner 099. This is what I’m getting:

Any insights as to why this might be happening or what I may be missing?

Hey, welcome! You need to connect the output of the Audio File In CHOP to the first input of the Audio Device Out CHOP to make this node work. The second input is for volume control.

there is two input on audio device out Chop, audio signal must be connected to the superior input
