Audio frequencies from image sequence.

Hi,

Very new to Touch Designer coming from Houdini. I am looking into possibilities to create some audio frequency based on either the luminance or color of an image sequence.

Is this possible in Touch Designer and where do I start.

You need to decide how you want to do this. You can pull the data from a TOP and convert it into a CHOP (note that you’ll have the RGBA in that case) and you can pull from a pixel, a line of pixels, the whole image, etc. Then convert this into a range of audible frequencies, and then you can make sound.
