Audio Play and Streaming?

Hi,

I’ve noticed the Audio Stream chop in 077, but is there a way to stream to the Audio Play chop? As far as I understand, audio play loads all the clips specified in the DAT in ram (and currently it runs out of memory on a big clip I’m using), so hopefully I can stream those clips instead of having the load in RAM, or do I have to write a substitute to audio play (argh) in order to stream audio clips?

Ya your right, AudioPlay loads all of the files into RAM, it doesn’t’ yet support steaming, although it will eventually.

My suggestion is to move the big file into Audio Stream, and continue to use Audio Play for for the smaller sound samples.
