Hi! I saw another post about smoothing audio input using filter CHOP. but for some reason it seems to draw a tonne of CPU. I go from 35FPS to 1. is there another better way I could process this signal?
my aim would be to take the audio values, to transform them into floating point type of signals to control values. I am running the latest M1 Mac mini, my audio is coming from another computer but being processed locally (spatial sound) with this local machine, and the values would be sent to another PC running Touchdesigner and Notch. so I’m not really doing a tonne of GFX processing either, mainly just running TDableton and setting up an environment where I can calibrate and scale control signals.
