Audio Stream in CHOP Crashing after a few days running

Hi !
First post in that page, I hope I’ll do it right.

I’ve made a surveillance system that listen to web radio streams run by university students so it never go silent in case someone did not put the regular stream back on after their show. Then it sends email.

However, I did some test only with the Audio Streams in CHOP going on and it is still crashing after a few hours or a few days.

The build is now 2021.16960 (because the VM can`t handle vulkan). But before that it was on a MAC with a much more recent 2022 version and it was still crashing.

The error message is a “fatal error”, or a “Failed insode operator:/project1/audiostrin1”

Most of the time when TD crashes without error messages I use a python script that reboot it if he sees TD not existing, but now I can’t use this because of the error messages… is there a way to avoid those for the moment ?

Hi @Johao_Mikael,

while a very interesting project, we are not able to support builds of that age.
Can you send instructions on how to recreate the issue and we will try to see if the same crash is occurring in the current official branch.
As in, is it enough to just have a stream running for days or is there more processing happening?
