I wanted to share a file with basic techniques of making notes within TouchDesigner. If you’re a fan of wavetable synthesis or the Serum VST, you might like this example.
According to its docs, Serum uses 32-bit wavetables with 2048 samples. This is why one of the pattern CHOPs has 2048 samples. You’re free to replace that pattern chop with your own wave cycle! Also, another great feature of Serum is its 3D visualization of the interpolation of wavetables. This tox is a good starting point for exploring that because the audio synthesis is already handled. Just make your own 2048-sample chops to use as wavetables.
See you in the #audio-synthesis thread on slack if you’d like to discuss this topic there too!
