Audio visualization: stream many tracks (kick, bass, synth)

Hello everyone!

I’m a little new to the program, vut looking on the forum (and the site in general) I didn’t find any solution to this problem, so sorry if it look like an easy one!

Im trying to make an audio visualization for some songs I’ve done, and I would like to have differents geometries responding to differents instruments.
I’ve esported a single .wav file per each instrument and I’m trying to use these on TD, but with the Audio Stream CHOP the program start slowing down so much, and it’s impossible to work (I’m trying to run with at least 8 tracks).

Im working on a MacBook Pro with 8 GB of RAM and running Windows Vista x64 by BootCamp, the TD version installed is the last one (FTE.077, non commercial).

Any advice?

This sounds like something I would do by using an application specifically built for audio playback and sequencing (Max/MSP and Live come to mind) then use OSC to route data back and forth or Jack to route the audio signal internally back to TD…best of luck…

Something to try is turn all the viewers off for the CHOPs. See if that helps.
