Avid DNxHR video codec support

ProRes is lovely and I really like the fact that it’s hardware accelerated on some platforms.

I’m currently processing batches of .exr files through Resolve and can’t export to ProRes on my PC. (I’m considering installing Voukoder Pro as a workaround if anyone has experience with that). The Avid DNXHR codec seems to check a lot of the same boxes as ProRes in terms of visual quality, recompression stability and file size.

It might be a nice candidate for next-supported codec family.

FWIW I recently started using Voukoder Pro and have been very happy with it. Came to the same conclusion for Resolve → TD ProRes workflows on Windows.

Well that’s a nice endorsement for Voukoder

Thanks Jared!
