best way to do a camera switcher?

Is there a way to connect multiple cameras to a switcher-kind of thingy and then use that as camera.

Did anyone else create a camera switcher that way? I know there are other ways to do it (i.e. use a table to set the camera name, switching that way) but it sounds like a camera switcher using an index would be a very useful and user friendly component.

not quite sure if this is what you are looking for, but the blend object usually does the trick.

You can drive the Camera parameter of a Render TOP with an expression that selects camera name from a table in a DAT.
