So for my current project I want to use an LFO that has to be synced between TD and Ableton. I’ve tried out TD ableton but couldn’t find a way to read the LFO data from a Max for live LFO device. Is this possible within the TD ableton space or do I need Livegrabber, and if so is there any tutorial or page explaining how to set that up?
I’ve looked around the web but couldn’t found anything yet.

You should be able to get LFO data with TDAbleton by hooking the LFO up to an ableton parameter and then watching that parameter in TD. There are a number of components to do that, but to get a single parameter, the abletonParameter comp is the most dead simple.
@Ivan thanks for your response. Just to be clear, when you say “by hooking the LFO up to an ableton parameter” do you mean hooking an TD LFO up to a parameter in Ableton? Because the issue is that I’ve tried that, but what I need is the actual LFO signal from Ableton, when selecting a parameter there isn’t a way to select the actual LFO signal to tunnel that straight thru TD. All the parameter options will give you a fixed value of which it is set on, not a moving LFO.
Or do you mean that there is a parameter that you can setup in Ableton that will read out the LFO data, which in turn you can then read out in TD?
I mean attach the LFO in Live to any device parameter in Live. Then use a TDAbleton component to watch that Live parameter from TouchDesigner.
