Hello everyone, I am trying for some time now to find if there is any way to blend between shapes. What I am trying to achieve is exactly portrayed in this poster Vera van de Seyp on Instagram: "save the dates π the Future Sketches group is delighted to host six groundbreaking designers/studios in our 2023 fall lunch lecture series, starting September 8. their work explores the intersection of typography, language and computation and speaks to what design may look like in the future. Fridays from 12β1PM ET: 9.8 @spacetypeco 9.15 @justvanrossum 9.22 @taliasaccount 9.29 @pchocho 10.6 @beatloz 10.13 @dia_studio find the Zoom link and more on the @mitmedialab website πΏ" where the letters are blending between their shape, so the switch TOP that I use for simple transitions wouldnβt work. Is there some sort of frame interpolation as in other animation programs that can generate frames between 2 selected frames? Or maybe some operator that I am not aware of?
Thank in advance!
I guess it could be achieved in SOPs with text and blend. With some feedback after rendering the result can be really close to the poster from the link above.
But for some reason i seams that random parts from each letter are coming together to form the next letter underneath and itβs not that each one is morphing directly into the one bellow as in the link above. This can be avoided if there is only one letter, making a blend operation for each one of them individually. But there must be a way to blend them simultaneously right?
You would need to make sure that each letter pair (source and blend target) have the same amount of points. Look into the resample sop
