Hello TD Programmers,
2020.22080 right now.
for practice on BulletSolver I followed a tutorial on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2w-Vm1fSZM
At 29:39 the ball disappears. I would like to fix that bug, since I have a game wich is rather fast. So is there a way to increase the rate that checks for collision or how can I fix this?
Thanks in advance.
Enabling continuous collision detection for any actors that have a high linear velocity should help with this. You could also try increasing the thickness of any collision surfaces so they can’t be clipped through as easily.
Thanks! Continuous collision detection fixed it.
How can I increase the collision thickness of a box? It seems I‘m not able to archive this as easy as I thought…
To increase the thickness of the sides of a box you could use a compound collision shape where each side of the box is Box SOP.
