BUG?: multiple asio devices with same output channel

In Direct Sound, we can output from multiple audioDeviceOut CHOPs to the same Device / channel

In ASIO mode, if I set the outputs to the same channel on two audioDeviceOut CHOPs, I can only hear the one that was last set.

As there are no warnings/errors I am not sure if this is a bug, technical limitation or missing feature?

It is a technical limitation of ASIO, although it could certainly give a better error
