Bug: Stuck in Value Ladder when dragging mouse past edge of secondary display

Display arrangement is as follows:
image
TouchDesigner is on Display #2.

When I drag a Value Ladder to the right, the cursor disappears as it should, and the value starts changing (no problem).

If I keep going, I see the cursor appear on the next display over, #4. Value Ladder works fine. (no problem).

But then if I keep going all the way to the edge of display #4 and onto display #3, and let go of the mouse button, TouchDesigner stays stuck in Value Ladder mode, even though I’ve let go of the mouse.

I can consistently reproduce this; let me know if you want me to make a phone video.

Hey @matijaerceg

Thanks for the report.

Does it occur as well in the latest stable?

Best,
Michel

I don’t know

@JetXS yes still happening on the latest stable

@matijaerceg I’ve logged an issue for a developer to try to reproduce. I cannot reproduce this on my end.

Best,
Michel

I’m not able to reliably reproduce either. However, I will mention that it happens less frequently than it used to (same screen layout as ever on my end).

Just in case it matters, could you please share the resolution and DPI scale of each screen left to right ?

1 -
2 -
4 -
3 -

Thanks.

1 - 1080p
2 - 4k
4 - 1080p (vertical, image rotated cw; “portrait, flipped” as windows calls it)
3 - 1080p

all are 100% size (no dpi adjustment)

Bit more context: as per my first post, this used to be easily reproducible in that 2021 version of TD.

Now on latest 2022 stable, it only happens rather infrequently, but when it does happen, I am unable to ‘release’ the value ladder, so i randomly click around, press keyboard buttons, alt tab, etc, until it eventually releases.
