Buggy animation functions?

Hello list,

I’ve been working with the animation COMP this last days and I noticed some buggy behaviour when selecting functions for breakpoints in the keyframes.

If I create a new animation COMP, create some channels and select a function for interpolation between points, it sometimes does what it should, sometimes it doesn’t. I haven’t determined in what cases it works, it seems random,

Furthermore, if I inspect the animation’s components, I see that in the DAT “keys”, column expression, the selected function is most often not updated when a new function gets selected

Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I’m running build 60230-64bit

Instead of selecting the keyframes, try selecting the curve between 2 keyframes. When the curve is selected then you can apply a function to it. Sorry this is so unintuitive.

Let me know if that helps.

Hello Ben,

Yes, this works! Indeed, it was a bit un-intuitive to get it, on the other hand it makes sense than a transformation to the curve should occur by selecting the curve :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks for the clarification!
