C++ top : xcode

Howdy, y’all!

I tried to spin up the C++ top example on macOS (10.13) in Xcode (10.1) and the example projects don’t compile, I get this error:

Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
“Parameters::evalBrightness(OP_Inputs const*)”, referenced from:
CPUMemoryTOP::execute(TOP_OutputFormatSpecs*, OP_Inputs const*, TOP_Context*, void*) in CPUMemoryTOP.o
“Parameters::setup(OP_ParameterManager*)”, referenced from:
CPUMemoryTOP::setupParameters(OP_ParameterManager*, void*) in CPUMemoryTOP.o
“Parameters::evalSpeed(OP_Inputs const*)”, referenced from:
CPUMemoryTOP::execute(TOP_OutputFormatSpecs*, OP_Inputs const*, TOP_Context*, void*) in CPUMemoryTOP.o
ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64
clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Before I spend the next 2-3 hours trying to troubleshoot this on my own by randomly changing settings in the project, I thought I’d check with you all to see if there’s a simple fix. Thanks!

Which example was this from? Offhand it seems like the Parameters.cpp file isn’t being compiled as part of the project. You are using the functions defined by the .h, but not actually compiling the definitions for those functions.
