Camschnappr rendering error

Hi all!

Over the past weeks I have been working on a projection mapping project using camschnappr.
However I have run into an issue of which I can’t find the source.

When I get map enough of the vertices to get something displayed on the beamer all cameras glitch.
The screencaptures below show with and without the issue.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?

thank you for capturing this behaviour, we are having a look at it.
For me the glitch is not visible in the final render, is that the same for you?

A bit a word of caution, camSchnappr and spherical shapes is a not very successful combination due to the uniformity of the object you are projecting onto and the difficulty of matching corresponding virtual and real world positions…

I hadn’t noticed the issue missing in rendering.
In an earlier test (attached below) the glitch did persist in rendering.
This had me presume this would be the case this time as well.
Makes it seem more complicated… but helps for the eyeproject

I had indeed noticed the difficulty with the mapping of spheres.
Something that helped me was mapping with a low vertex count and increasing afterwards.
Does still take multiple tries each time though.
Is there someting you know of more suited for sphere mapping?
