Can I force Script DAT to output in text mode instead of table mode?

I’m using a Script DAT to insert line breaks ( \n ) into its input coming from a Text DAT upstream.
This causes the Script DAT to go into “table DAT mode” with multiple rows. But I need the multiline text as one string, so I’m using a Convert DAT downstream.
This works fine, but I was wondering is there a way to force the Script DAT to output in “Text DAT mode” (if such a thing exists)? Or is the Script DAT by definition a Table DAT?

Thanks!
