Can't link a Slider COMP to a text TOP

Hi, I want my slider to show the text I typed on my text bar(inside a text TOP). I put an expression ./text in slider COMP>Look>Background TOP. However, the slider COMP won’t show the text. I tried to change the font/position of my text TOP. It didn’t help. Please give me some advice about this.

Hi @angelfu29 - is this just a Slider COMP or are you using a widget?

Is your text TOP named text or text1? Touch usually adds a digit to an operator’s name.

If your slide COMP and text TOP are in the same hierarchy, the path in ‘Background TOP’ parameter doesn’t need “./”. Just input TOP name.
