Based on reading the docs, I’m understanding that a CHOP export is faster than a CHOP relative reference?
Is that the case? Or what is really the difference? Because from the CHOP exporter I’m being offered the option to export CHOP or paste the realtive reference…Trying to understand what the difference is.
There are a lot of differences, but the major differences are:
With the CHOP export method, by default, the export method will be “DAT Table by Index”, thus if the channel name of the CHOP ever changes, the export will NOT result in an error. But if it is via the CHOP relative reference method, you will get an error if the channel name changes.
With the CHOP export method, the ability to on/off via the export flag. The same does NOT apply to a CHOP relative reference method.
Better “housekeeping” with the CHOP export method as you can press “Alt + x” and all the exports are there.
