Im doing a school project where I have to change the colours of a rock based on the decibel of sound thats being picked up through my laptops microphone. I got it all set up where the rocks change colour based on the sound, but am having trouble loading all of them into one operator. Right now I have each individual image (of the rock) connected to a trigger and a count, and they each go into their individual switch that has the image of the coloured rock, and the image of the rock with no colour. I have to figure out a way to get them all in the same operator so that when sounds are occurring the rock keeps changing colour. I tried hooking up all the triggers to 2 counts and connecting those two counts to a third count or a new switch and using that switch/count as an index for the final switch, but that did not work. Let me know if this makes any sense lol.
Hey @petersandrew999,
are you using the RMS Power
Function in the Analyze CHOP? A straight forward method would be to rerange the values you get from the analyze using a Math CHOP and its parameters on the Range
page. This value can then be used to drive a Switch TOP’s index
parameter.
Hope this helps
Cheers
