Client with Digital Signage already in place

Hello professionals,

I am about to be part of a project that requires distribution a mix of interactive video with regular digital signage over multiple screen of different sizes.

The client is already using a digital signage system called Scala.

How does this situations work in general? Do they have to end their use of Scala or we can use Scala to distribute the content from Touchdesigner?

Thank you.

It kinda depends on the hardware-setup.
I have a client that is running also a signage-software on their own windows-systems. We simply moved the signage over to a second screen and used touchdesigners screenCapture to be able to composite it with interactive/realtime content from TD.
Another solution might be to check out streaming cabilities like SRT or WebRTC, the latter being much more involved, but allowing to stream TD directly in to a browser which should be possible to be dispayed by the signage software.
