Clock CHOP - day vs wday Functionality (Fractions)

Looking at the Clock CHOP documentation:

Day of Week wday - If Output is Units, it is the actual day of the week, starting with 0 for Monday and 6 for Sunday.

Day of Month day - If Output is Units, it is the actual day of the month, so on March 20, it is 20. If Output is Fraction, it is fraction of a day of the current moment, so at 6:30 PM, it is .77, taking into account the hour, minute and second.

What I end up seeing is wday displaying what looks like a fraction of the day (It’s currently 19:16), and day completely disabled wne Output is Fractions. This is obviously completely workable, but I wanted to point it out in case it’s shifted (or will shift in the future) as that might break some stuff.

I’m running MacOS with Build 2025.32050.

Hello @nuff,

thank you for pointing this out. I amended the docs, detailing the output’s behavior when in fraction mode:

Day of Week wday - If Output is Units, it is the actual day of the week, starting with 0 for Monday and 6 for Sunday. If Output is Fraction, it is fraction of a day of the current moment, so at 6:30 PM, it is .77, taking into account the hour, minute and second. To get the fraction for the current time in relation to the week, use the week output.
Day of Month day - If Output is Units, it is the actual day of the month, so on March 20, it is 20. If Output is Fraction, this parameter is disabled. To get the fraction for the current time in relation to the month, use the month output.
Day of Year yday - If Output is Units, it is the Day of year, starting with 0 for January 1. If it is Fraction, this parameter is disabled. To get the fraction for the current time in relation to the year, use the year output.

Hope this helps
cheers
Markus
