Say I have 10 boxes. Each box can be transformed. Each box also has a goal transform.

Now I want to know when 90% of the boxes have come within a set distance of their goal position.

I know how to compare two SOPs together using an object chop looking for distance and a logic chop to check when that distance falls within a range.

I’m trying to figure out the optimal way to set up multiple comparisons though. Do I put all the boxes and their respective goals inside a single Geometry CHOP? Or do I have an individual geometry CHOP for each pair of box/goal.

If it makes a difference, my preference would be to have all the box SOPs be instanced geometry since they will be moved based off of a Kinect’s depth image. However, I’m not sure how to compare an instanced geometry with a target transform.

Any suggestions would be a lot of help.
